In the paper, an advanced probability model considering time-dependent character of system is proposed for multi-T beam bridges. The concept of redundancy is used to analyze the relationship between components and systems. The System redundancy of multi-T beam bridges depends on the ductility of T beams and the strength of horizontal linkages. During the degradation processes of RC, not only the resistance is gradually reduced, but also the ductility is gradually decreased. Based on the above understanding, a time-dependent model of multi-T beam system is established. A 5 T-beam simply supported bridge is employed to carry out time-dependent system reliability analysis. The results showed that the introduction of time-dependent character of system is very important for the life-cycle analysis.
