Formal Representations of Bulgarian Possessive and Reflexive- possessive Pronouns

In this paper~*, we present comparison of different approaches to formal representation of Bulgarian possessive and reflexive-possessive pronouns inflectional morphology. The interpretation is based on detailed analysis of grammar features and semantics of possessive and reflexive-possessive pronouns, and the related formal representations are based on the use of semantic networks. The problem is interpreted as a grammar knowledge representation task. The principles of two different formal representations and the related programming encoding, using DATR language for lexical knowledge representation, and the Universal Networking Language are analyzed. Finally, more general principles and conclusions about formal representation of pronominal inflectional morphology are drawn.
