In cultural touristic settings, the feeling of pleasure is conveyed through cultural attractions that involve authenticity in accordance with cultural meanings. The study aims to evaluate the interior environments of authentic settings. Cultural motivation of a tourist has many different dimensions; from object based authenticity to existential authenticity. In a cultural setting the interior itself becomes the object that is exhibited. The study will then draw on a range of theoretical studies which examine the relation between cultures and interior spaces, studies conducted on the relations between cultures and interior space. As a case, traditional Turkish coffeehouse interiors are selected.
