摘要

A direct adaptive output-feedback controller for the stable plants with input time delay is proposed in this paper. The controller is based on the model reference adaptive control approach and a Smith-predictor like filter is utilized to handle the time delay. The control algorithm is applied as a part of the artificial pancreas, where the controller design is based on the simplified type one diabetes mellitus subject model.
