FEM of the maxilar bone-implant system

摘要

FEM is an important tool used in our days even in medicine was the relationship between the human body and artificial structure can be predicted. The article presents the simulation of the maxilar bone behavior when an implant is embedded in its structure. There are studied three cases, first is the case of a healthy bone, the second represents the model of a 1.5 mm bone resorbtion and the third the 2.5 mm bone resorbtion. The displacement of the implant and the stresses inside the bone are studied.
