The Analysis of Relationship between Higher Education and Economic Growth based on Co-integration —— A Case Study of Shandong Province

摘要

This paper uses the cointegration method to analyze the relationship between the current higher education scale and the economic development in Shandong Province from 1980-2007 (the sample is selected after the opening reform), then got the Regression Model and the Error Correction Model of they two, and conducted the Granger causality test. The result showed that they are positively corrected with each other and at last it tried to give the explanation.
