Effect of soil consolidation on soil-lining interaction in tunnels

摘要

In an attempt to simulate and investigate the staged excavation of a circular lined tunnel, a study involving 2D and 3D finite element analyses using ABAQUS software was undertaken. The main objective was to simulate the ground-liner interaction incorporating the effect of consolidation and the three-dimensional ground behavior near the face of the excavation.
