摘要

Conventional Laminated Object Modeling(LOM) material is a bi-layer laminate of cellulose fibre and polymer blend. A LOM model built with laminate retains the moisture sensitivity of paper which undergoes dimensional distortion when it exposes to humidity. A new LOM composite is designed and compared with the conventional material in terms of moisture content and dimension changes. The compressive creep belavior as a function of the laminating pressure and temperature of the new composite sheet is also investigated. A master deformation law accounting for varied process temperatures and pressures will be developed from experiments.
