For identifying the tire vibrations of rolling tires indirect measurements are used. With arnmicrophone array on five sides around the tire measurements were performed in the time domain atrndifferent speeds, loads and inflation pressure. From the experimental data the principal componentsrnwere calculated and used as input to an Inverse Boundary Element Model (IBEM) calculation to giverninformation about the vibrations on the surface of the tire. The approach and the resulting vibratingrnpatterns will be presented in the paper. These data will be used to calibrate a FEM tire model.
