Treatment of TNT Red-water by Electrolytic Method

摘要

In order to decrease the treatment cost and increase the treatment efficiency, electrolytic method was used to treat the TNT red-water. The influence of electrode materials, electrolysis voltage and electrolysis time on the removal efficiency of COD and color were studied. The results show that for the diluted TNT red-water, the COD removal efficiency can reach 52%, and the color removal efficiency can reach 99% under suitable conditions. It means that the electrolytic method can be a good pre-treatment method of TNT red-water.
