1 IntroductionAs an extension of the authors' preceeding works [1-6], a stochastic theory of the scattering from a random cylindrical surface is presented based on the orthogonal functional calculus of Wiener-Ito, combined with the group-theoretic consideration associated with the stochastic homogeneity of the random field on the cylindrical surface. Several formulas for the coherent and incoherent scattering as well as the optical theorem are obtained for a slightly rough surface and numerically calculated for the plane wave incidence.
