摘要

The novel type of bond system, called QD NCC for Quick Dry Non Cement Castable has been applied in gunnable products with the aim to combine advantages of 1. shuttering-free installations and 2. intrinsic properties of QD NCC. Presented new products can be installed by dry or wet gunning; they give high potential of time saving in the overall refractory installation process: 1. During installation 2. Curing - not required 3. Dry out - due to higher and earlier drying rate combined with much reduced steam pressure a quicker respectively safer dry-out can be realized compared to traditional cement bonded castables.
