It is necessary to restrict the damage area for the enhancement of shiprnsurvivability under the internal blast of a Semi-Armor Piecing (SAP)rnwarhead inside a ship's compartment, and to develop design guidancernand performance verification technique of Blast Hardened Bulkheadrn(BHB) for the protection of its damage diffusion to adjoiningrncompartment and continuous flooding. The objective of this study is torndevelop shock response analysis technique of BHB under the internalrnblast using MMALE (Multi-Material Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian)rnformulation and FSI (Fluid-Structure Interaction) analysis technique ofrnLS-DYNA code through the verifications of internal blast tests ofrnreduced scale chamber model.
