A Study on Numerical Technique for the Hardened Grout When Grouting Method is Applied

Recently, pressure grouting is widely being used in construction site forrnstrength improvement of ground and water proof, reinforcement and sornon. It is necessarily required to estimate an appropriate injectionrnpressure and injection time for economical and reasonable constructionrnin the site through the size and shape of the hardened grout measuredrnaccording to ground condition. However, sampling for the hardenedrngrout is time-consuming and needs the high cost on preliminary test inrnthe site. The system which could predict the size and shape of thernhardened grout does not exist until now. Thus, numerical method basedrnon VOF method with the same condition, silicate grouting material wasrnused for the calibration chamber test with injection pressure, 50kPa,rn100kPa and 150kPa, is applied and analyzed in this study. The resultsrnindicate that the numerical technique based on VOF method amongrnCFD analysis is expected to be a basic study on behavior andrnsolidification of pressure grouting.
