The design and performance of a liquid-type solar space and DHW heating system using radiant floor as the energy distribution system is reviewed. The design emphasized low electrical consumption and high solar efficiency. The monitored resutls include ambient conditions, solar radiation o nthe collector surface, storage tank stratification, heat exchanger effectiveness, liquid flow rates and control functions. The temeprature control of the structure with high-mass and slow thermal response is presented.
