The designa nd performance of a liquid-type solar space and DHW heating system using radiant floor as the energy distribution system is reviewed. The design emphasized low electrical consumption and high solar efficiency. The monitored results include ambient conditions, solar radiation on the collector surface, storage tank stratification, heat exchanger effectiveness, liquid flow rates and control functions. The temperature control of the structure with high-mass and slow thermal response is presented.
