摘要

Far infrared emission measurements acquired by thernSAFIRE-A limb sounder aboard the M-55 Geophysicarnhigh altitude aircraft, during dedicated ENVISATrnvalidation campaigns, primarily aimed at validatingrnMIPAS operational products. Results of O3 and HNO_3rnobservations obtained by the airborne instrument duringrnthe mid-latitude flight on 24th October, 2002 andrnintercomparison with MIPAS off-line operational datarnare discussed in this paper. We also present the firstrnoutput of some further analysis carried out with thernsupport of modeling tools developed at University ofrnL’Aquila and making use of forward and backwardrntrajectories calculations, to identify matching aircraftrnand satellite data recorded at different times andrngeographical locations.
