摘要

The far-ranging premature deterioration of infrastructures all over the world has led to significant repairs, renovation and rehabilitation work and the huge amount of government expenditures incurred consequentially, which become the albatross of national finance. As the high performance concrete (HPC) is one of most widely used eco-materials and is a durable, recyclable and environmental responsible material, the promotion of the further research, development and the use of HPC as well as its related technologies, is one solution to resolve the aforementioned problem. More specifically, the government, in cooperation with the provinces, should continue to support university/industry partnership programs to ensure innovative solutions can grow from concept to utilization in the marketplace, especially on the innovation and widely use of HPC in all infrastructure and construction projects.
