Chitosan — Green Scale Inhibitor Used in Cool Recycle System

摘要

This paper investigated the impacts of different factors on the scale inhibition rate of chi-tosan(CH). It is indicated that the chitosan is indeed an excellent green scale inhibitor which has scale inhibition ability over common anionic scale inhibitor owing to its unique characteristics of polycation structure. The significance of this research lies on that it is very different entirely from the traditional scale inhibition theory, which bases on the anion scale prevention model, and offers a new thought of scale inhibition.
