摘要

In the application of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in environment monitoring, the WSN is required to connect to the Internet, and upload the data to the control center. Stability and reliability of the gateway is very important. Based on embedded Linux and ARM9, a WSN gateway was designed. In this system, the sensors were used to collect environment parameter information, like temperature,humidity and light. The data can be transferred to the remote PC that was used as the host server by GPRS wireless network module. In the GPRS module, PPP(point to point) was used to access to the Internet. Through the socket, the controller and the PC can exchange data, realizing the remote communication between the WSN and host server. The system carries a JN5121 node, based on zigbee protocol, which can collect WSN's data. It has succeeded in solving the problem of remote wireless communication. This paper introduced the specific problems and the key technology of the design of gateways.
