A Non Local Theory Applied to a Multiaxial Critical Plane Criterion in High Cycle Fatigue

摘要

A non local evolution of a critical plane high cycle fatigue criterion is proposed on the basis of the concept of volume influencing fatigue crack initiation. The predictions of this proposal are in good agreement with fatigue data on steels and nodular cast iron.
