This paper proposes a simple damage model for evaluation of low cycle fatigue lives under complex cyclic multiaxial loadings. The model was developed by combining the strain parameter which has been proposed by the author with Miner's law. The applicability of the model was examined for life evaluation of nonproportional low cycle fatigue under 14 proportional and nonproportional strain paths for Type 304 stainless steel and 6061 aluminum alloy. The model successfully correlated most of all the fatigue data for two materials within a factor of two scatter band.
