Spray forming using a linear nozzle - microstructure analysis and deposit thermal modeling

This paper describes as-cast microstructure of spray formed 3003 alloy deposits produced using a linear nozzle on the spray forming unit at Alcoa Technical Center and a computational simulation of the thermal condition of the deposit during the deposition process.
