The structure of grain boundaries in nanocrystalline Al

The structure of grain boundarie (GBs) in nanocrystalline materials is of great interest since they play an important role in the properties of materials. However, the behavior of GBs is still not clear during the deformation. In this representation, grain boundary structures in Al with super fine grain size were studied at the atomic level by using high resolution electron microscopy (HREM).
