摘要

Dinoflagellates are a group of primitive eukaryotes, possessing a number of peculiar traits of nuclear organization suggestive between the prokaryotic and eukaryotic state. Few studies about nuclear organization of dinoflagellate have been done. Eggs of Xenopus laevis have been proved to be exceptionally favorable sources of cell-free systems for studying assembly of the cell nucleus. Xenopus eggs store abundant protein and membrane components required to a funmctional nuclear envelope around exogenously added DNA or chromatin. We wonder whether the intact dinoflagellate chromosomes can be reconstituted or not in a cell-free system from typical eukaryote -Xenopus laevis.
