摘要

The occurrence of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was the most important event of geological environment changes during the Cenozoic period.The research indicated that the occurrence of the East-Asia summer monsoon and the beginning of the loess deposits both took place in Early Quaternary,when the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau showed an intense uplift.Therefore,the uplift of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was the dominant factor to lead to the occurrence of monsoons and loess.
