As a high rise building is constructed, it is required to demand a high speed elevator.rnSince a high speed elevator has various transfer paths of noise transmitted from motor andrnrope etc. to interior of cabin, it is very difficult to solve the noise problem in thisrncircumstance. Most of research for reduction of noise has been performed passive noiserncontrol by using absorption material and insulation material mainly. In this study, while itrnis modeling as multi-input and single-output with respect to transfer paths of high speedrnelevator on condition of stationary and driving states, the characterized frequency in therncabin is found out by a contribution technique, Also, a new active noise control techniquernhas been proposed to effectively control noise at unpleasant area of passenger that it isrnrequired to a quite zone. The Co-FXLMS algorithm has been applied to control atrndominant frequency that it has a high contribution. Simultaneously, this study has beenrnproposed Modified FXLMS algorithm with moving band pass filter to improve thernperformance of active noise control in the cabin.
