This work presents the most excellent conclusions of the acoustic study made in AuditoriornNacional de Música, placed in the city of Madrid (Spain). This auditorium was built by thernSpanish Architect José María García de Paredes in 1988 and the Acoustic Consultant wasrnLothar Cremer. The work is developed in two parts:rn1. Explanation of the acoustic simulation results: sound rays trajectories from the source tornthe receivers are analyzed and acoustic parameters have been evaluated.rn2. Measurements results: acoustic measurements have been made and the results will berncompared with the acoustic simulation.rnThis auditorium is quoted by Beranek in his book "Concert halls and opera houses: musicrnacoustics and architecture". Here, we have studied this room for the first time through thernacoustic simulation complemented with new measurements.
