There are many e-learning packages available that canrnhelp children learn by using the computer without therntraditional classroom environment. While these packagesrnare useful, there may sometimes be some design problemsrnwith them that need to be addressed. For example, somernpackages teach bad pronunciation for words, others makerndrawing areas too small. Some packages do not have anyrnrelevant cultural information for countries other than thernorigin of the software and others have reward levels thatrnare too hard to achieve etc. This project looks at howrnsoftware design can be improved so that a better overallrnproduct for children?s education can be implemented. Thernfindings based on the investigation suggest that severalrndeficiencies do exist in the packages examined andrnremedying these faults can lead to even more beneficialrnpackages for children.
