Generating virtual drainage basins can be an effective way to understand relationship among characteristics of geomorphologic distribution, rainfall distribution, and runoff distribution. We attempt to develop the method of generating virtual drainage basins based on channel network evolution theory proposed by Horton (1945). We also analyzed geomorphic quantities of the virtual drainage basins, and we obtained the result that the basins which have realistic bifurcation ratio and hypsometric curve can be generated by the generating basins model. to advance this method, we introduced the mathematical models of slopes and streams evolution. Using advanced model, the concept of time became taken into consideration.
