Multimedia technologies are beingrnincreasingly used in classrooms. It is expected thatrn50% of personnel training will be with the use of thisrnmedium in the coming millennium. This paperrncontributes by proposing an experimental researchrnthat intends to bring the debate of multimedia inrneducation and training to the forefront. This studyrnwill be tested in a laboratory setting during Springrn1999 quarter and the results will be presented at thernAmericas Conference on Information Systemsrn(AMCIS).
