THE USE OF POLYESTER FILM IN HV ROTATING MACHINE INSULATION

摘要

Film backed Resin Rich and VPI micapaper tapes alone are established as economical insulating materials for use in HV Rotating Machines currently up to 13.8kV. They can be supplied in dry interleaved or non-interleaved rolls, capable of application by machine. Further development indicates that higher working electrical stresses and temperatures are possible with tapes having improved flexibility and thermal conductivity.
