Design of the He Cooling System of the Superconducting Ring Cyclotron for the RIKEN RI Beam Factory

Design of the He cooling system for six superconducting sector magnets is described, especially focusing into the basic concept of operation, configuration and He recovery. A He refrigerator of 1.5 kW class will be employed in the system. The manufacturing of the magnets will be soon started, and the main components of the He refrigerator are being designed in detail and will be manufactured in coming two years.
