CIE technical committee, TC 2-60, has recently completed its report on the “effect ofrninstrumental bandpass and measurement interval on spectral quantities”. The report is atrncommittee ballot stage. This paper summarises the key results of that report. It provides arnbandwidth correction algorithm that applies to both triangular and non-triangular bandpassrnfunctions and discusses the effect of bandwidth on spectral measurements.
