SAVING POTENTIALS IN ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF LIGHTING SYSTEMS: EXAMPLES FROM TURKEY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY STUDIES

In this study, it is aimed to emphasize thernimportance of lighting in the energy audits,rnwhich is a crucial implementation in thernenergy efficiency studies. Possible electricalrnenergy saving potentials for lighting systemsrnwas expressed on the basis ofrndemonstration projects, conducted by thernstaff of ITU Energy Institute. Under thernheadings of industry, building and roadrnlighting, the current legislation andrnapplications in this field were explained andrnthe results of sample demonstration projectsrnwere given.
