摘要

Gestures are a natural and intuitive interpersonal communication model. Gesture recognition based on vision is essential and a key technology for achieving a new generation human computer interaction. Research on gesture recognition technology has become an important research direction in the field of computer vision and pattern recognition. In this paper, it uses DSP image processing system, and does pretreatment for the collected gesture images, and proposes the gesture recognition algorithm, which combines the selection of the gesture aspect ratio range with template matching of modified Hausdorff distance, improving the recognition speed.
