The terma star tracker for the memo satelite

TERMA Elektronik AS, Denmark, has developed a Star Tracker for the NEMO (Naval EarthMap Observer) Remote Sensing Spacecraft. NEMO is a joint effort between Space Technology Development Corporation and the Naval Research Laboratory. The NEMO Star Tracker is equipped with a compact low-f-number optics, a large format CCD and a powerful microprocessor. It is designed for measuring attitude with accuracy better than 2 arcseconds for pitch and yaw and 14 arcseconds for roll. The Star Tracker is an autonomous system able to determine the attitude fro mlost in space conditions and is able to perform the operations of attitude acquisition and tracking under stressing conditions of slew rate and acceleration.
