SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF BENZENE AND TOTAL HYDROCARBONS IN CO2 USING FLAME IONIZATION DETECTOR

This article discusses a newly developed analyzer used for the simultaneous analysis ofrnParts Per Billion (PPB) levels of Benzene and Parts Per Million (PPM) levels of TotalrnHydrocarbons (THC) in gases like Carbon dioxide (CO2). The analyzer uses a packedrnGas Chromatograph (GC) column to separate Benzene from other hydrocarbons andrndetect the concentration using a sensitive Flame Ionization Detector (FID).
