摘要

HA/UHMWPE powder was mixed by ball milling. and then hot pressed into composite. The microstructurernand the mechanical properties of the composite were characterized by XRD. SEM and mechanical tests. The results showedrnthat the HA did not decompose. There was not new chemical substance produced. The tensile strength decreased withrnincreasing HA contents. But impact strength increased then decreased. and reach to the maximum value when the HArncontent was 20vol%. The tensile and the impact strength of the composite showed an ascending trend with the increase ofrnball milling time. There are good combination of mechanical properties and fracture when milled 40h.
