People discuss politics with firends, families, at work, etc. With the resie of computer mediated communication it seems logical that pople would create new online groups with whom to discuss politics. This paper is na introductory exploration of two usenet newsgoups focused on plitical discussion. The goal was to answer questions such as who is participating in these online discussions and do the online groups resemble more traditioonal discussion networkds.
