Now stepping motor is made broad use of by numeric control system. Its operating characteristic is concerned with driving power besides with natural characteristic. So improving the properties of driving power of stepping motor has long been of interest to researchers. Recently the research with respect to subdivision technique of stepping motor is very popular in all of the world. Many methods have been developed and some subdivision drivers with high performance. A subdivision method of pulse-width modulation of fixed frequency implemented by MCS51 SCM is discussed in this article. This method enables us to successfully apply and such characteristics as small vibration. low noises and feasible performance has been proved by experiments.
