In the present paper, a vortex methods to analyze the flow in oil hydraulic control valve is shown. The method is combined with a boundary element method and sueful for solving turbulent flow and moving boundary problems. Two examples of the flow in valves are explained here. As a result, this study proved that the present vortex method is very useful in analyzing the turbulent jet flow issuing from the orifice of oil hydraulic valve whose movable part (spool or poppet) is moving.
