摘要

This study presents two approaches for determining standard time in a multi-pattern and shortrnlife-cycle production system. The approaches are explained through a case study with the field data fromrna tableware manufacturing company which can represent the characteristics of the multi-pattern andrnshort life-cycle. In the first approach, based on the production field data, new weights for each variablernin function and difficulty grade categories are estimated and corresponding model for determiningrnstandard time is developed. In the second approach, the standard time is determined based on the existingrnweights for each variable in two categories. Multiple regression models are developed for each approach.rnBased on the standard time data, a conversion table reflecting the comprehensive difficulty is generatedrnand used for making differences among the items produced by each worker.
