The main indexes subjected to the structural technical features are determined, therncorresponding weights of these indexes and their distributions are given through the fuzzy theory, thenrnthe deterioration norm of the structure is gotten. Based on the deterioration norm, the assessment resultrnfor the structural technical situation is obtained. Hence the prediction of the structural surplus durationrnin safety can be done. With the application of the method referenced above to the Container GantryrnCrane operated in some see port, it states that the method provided in this paper can be successfullyrnused.
