摘要

This paper describes a noninvasive measurement of underwater sound pressure fields arising from an axisymmetric ultrasound transducer. The sound pressure fields are measured by utilizing the piezo-optic effect with laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) without disturbing the fields. The reconstruction is performed with the aid of computed tomography. At first, the reliability of the reconstruction algorithm will be shown for a sound pressure field simulated with the finite element program CFS++ (Coupled-Field-Simulation). After that, a sound pressure field is measured and reconstructed with and without the assumption, that the transducer generates an axisymmetric sound pressure field. Both results are compared to the values directly measured by hydrophone.
