In the recent trends in Wireless Sensor Technology gives researchers a chance to work for it in best possible way so as to minimize some critical issues related to it. One of such issue is related to energy consumption as sensor nodes used in WSN technology are battery operated. Energy consumption can be reduced using data aggregation methodology which composed of clustering phenomenon, useful for wide range of industrial, environmental, agricultural and military applications which mainly includes applications like smart cities, temperature and humidity monitoring, flood detection, RADAR detection and so on. In clustering, each cluster has a cluster head which aggregate data and forward it to the base station for which cluster size and data transmission rate are very important factors. In this research paper, an algorithm has proposed for improving the lifetime of WSN working which accounts for less energy consumption for the system with its basic working principle and flowchart.
