摘要

In this paper, an indoor positioning system based on RSS is presented. Extended Kalman Filter is used to do position estimation. Groups of positioning results based on distinguished combination of reference units are discussed. Experiments show that more reference units used in one estimation process does not ensure better positioning results or higher accuracy. This is an useful guide to decide the deployed density of reference units and dynamically to choose which reference units are used therefore to improve position accuracy.
