The reason why intra-production specialization surges in recent decades is that improved technologies lead to the sharp reduction of transportation costs, communication costs, and data-processing costs. Besides, global trade liberalization and the policy of encouraging FDl and promoting export processing contribute to the decrease of intra-production specialization.In addition, it is the real-time market supply and demand as well as the complexity of market competition faced by enterprises that drives internally them to participate in intra-production specialization.
