The Prevention of Environmental Pollution in the Coal Preparation Process

Inner noise and outer coal slurry pollutions in the coal preparation process are the two problems of environmental pollution for many coal preparation plants now. They have become the negative factors to restrict the production and development of coal preparation plant. This paper analyses the causes for noise and coal slurry pollution in the coal preparation process, and discusses the ways and countermeasures of pollution prevention. Meanwhile, it points out that the environment consciousness of coal preparation should be strengthened, and the inner management system in the coal preparation process should be perfected. The inner noise pollutions should be resolved respectively according to two sides of prevention and control for the new and old coal preparation. However, the key to the prevention and control for the outer coal slurry pollution lies in realizing coal slime recovery within coal preparation plant and closed water circuit. Only are pertinent prevention and control measures taken, it can achieve effective control for pollution.
