This article describes the connotation and composition of the port industry cluster, and analyzes the conditions of forming port industry cluster. Through analyzing the port industry cluster's influence on regional competitiveness, logistics integration, port economic development, and hinterland economic growth, the important roles of the port industrial clusters on the regional economy are indicated.
